Snap on is the worst... Well the tools are nice, they just cost 5 times what they should. Go to sears, home depot, Lowe's, anywhere that has a lifetime warranty. At least if it breaks you know where to go for a replacement. I have a drawer FULL of broken snap on tools and haven't had a rep to return them to in 5 years. A lot of food the warranty does me now.

If it's a cooperate shop it will say "mastercare" somewhere by the firestone logo.
I actually don't like Snap On wrenches. They're too shiny and slippery. But tools will be my first investment.

Oh, I'll be fine. Believe it or not, I've never done drugs or anything. Never even smoked! It appears that everyone is doing it these days.... No trouble with the law either.

Alright. Bike stuff. My throttle cable arrived today. I'll install it later tonight and hopefully the throttle grip will snap back instead of slowly going back. If not, it's got to be the carb springs.

Make sure that the throttle drum is not bottomed out on the end of the handlebar.

            New throttle cable.

            Old throttle cable.

Removed old cable and tried to put the new one in but guess what? The nut is too big!

It will not fit into this hole!

You can see the difference in the nuts.

The length is the same and the other end is the same.

This is the one I bought.

So, this brings me to another question. Is my right hand controls from a different model? Or did the seller send me the wrong cable?

                It's raining today too. Stupid!

Here is a pic of my right hand controls. It's the only pic I have on file. I can take more pics if needed. My right hand controls are also metal while my left side is plastic. Should it be like that?

                  Aha! Mine is NOT stock.

                  Look at this.

Notice that it is much wider than mine, has a red switch, and bigger start button. It also appears to be plastic. Does anyone have one for me?

Bah! Don't care if it's faded or not. As long is it's intact, uncut wires, and if it's the same!

Do you mind sending me pictures? You got my email.

You can take a look at this thread as well.

I'm not sure how long they are. I'll check later.

                              That's a push/pull throttle for VM carbs.

I probably could make yours fit onto mine but I don't feel like doing that. Looking for somehing easy.

Makes sense. That's why there's two holes for the throttle cables. Any idea which bike it came off of? The wires bolt right into the wiring harness.
