Not at all! I have a GPS! My truck's engine seized up (I knew that was coming....) so I need a car. The bike won't be ready for a while either. *sigh*

And who needs idiot lights? It is a Suzuki.
If it is running, has oil and gas in it and not making any funny banging/clanging sounds,
you are good to go...

After all of your troubles with the 450 and all of the troubles with this one,
you deserve to keep it and it will pay you back in many fun-filled miles.
They REALLY are not that hard to make work as designed.
It is just some minor little tiny things that you are overlooking.

You guys make it sound so easy. This is only my second time working on a project like this. I bet you guys have done hundreds of these so you know your way around it. I am not there yet and I often get stuck or confused lol.... . But the problem is still there. I need a ride.

Exactly ! If you buy a car, you face increased insurance cost, lower gas mileage, and an unknown vehicle with unknown problems. You know that bike inside and out.

You guys make it sound so easy. This is only my second time working on a project like this. I bet you guys have done hundreds of these so you know your way around it. I am not there yet and I often get stuck or confused lol.... . But the problem is still there. I need a ride.

I'm on my first GS. It's not without a headache or 3, but my girlfriend has been riding it a few times a week and hasn't had any issues.

You have to pick it apart into each tiny possible issue, and test/fix everything. First I had a fueling issue as a result of bad float levels. Then my electrical problem due to a bad R/R and fuseblock. Then another fueling issue from not having another inline filter for my nasty gas tank. Then my turn signals didn't work. Then I had a wire break free from the coils.

I could go on, but you get the picture. It's a learning experience.

With all the BS life has thrown at you with this ride ... if you don't keep it you are letting the negative energy or as you say DARK CLOUD win. It's thrown a lot at you & you have worked through it. KEEP IT!
You will be happy you did, because all of us older adults (an I use the term loosely) have sold various cars & bikes and have regretted it years later. I have 1 car & 1 bike I regret selling because of $$$ flow issues. Turns out I didn't need to in the end. And I have kicked myself many times for selling them.
