I ended up reusing my old T. It didn't leak and the rubber was still soft so I greased it up and re installed it.

The BS kit and 30mm Orings will give you enough for another rebuild/refresh. One note to make... The choke assembly O rings were too big. I used 2 of the needle/seat O rings instead. Also the needle/seat O rings were too fat so I used 2 of the fuel T rings. Worked great and no leaks. I forgot to mention I asked for the drain screw O rings also... mine were a little... flat...

New on on the left old one on the right

Awesome. Glad it worked out. Still hoping dealer will call in the next few minutes saying he has the sprockets.

I have to say yours was in pretty good shape when you got it but you did a really nice job cleaning it up even more.

Have you seen/heard of anyone else having one of these bikes?

The pretty face fooled me... it has been a roller coaster of working great then not, working great then not... I would advise even if the bike is working fine now go through the carbs... It is incredible what fresh carbs will do for the behavior.

dfocht and kitten tooth have 300's not sure if they are still active on this forum.

Ha mine didn't have a pretty face at all. I was actually attracted by the fact that I couldn't find anything about it online.

I've hit some frustrating points but that is mostly because I don't know what I am doing and I know very little about anything bike related.

That has been sort of beneficial though because I have to work harder to learn even the smallest of things.

Actually this thread helped out a lot!

Mate I like the pipes! Dunstall style definitely is a good choice

Can't wait to see a pic of them installed! And video if you can do it

Well today I found the rectifier us bad. Idle produces 14.2v revving up produces over 17v. Needless to say it freaking bites I can't ride for another week until the stupid parts get here.

Just took the old one off. PO was an idiot. I counted 114. No wonder the tensioners were all the way out.

Good thing I hadn't really been riding hard.

                    Thanks!

Love the Dunstalls! Bugger on the R/R though... At least when my stator went I could still ride as long as trickle charged the battery over night. Over charging's a whole different story though.

108 links is stock? Man the 450's only 104... must be a longer swingarm or something...

Just tested my r/r. Bad too.

Did you get a new rick's or just a used off ebay?

Thanks man I do like the mufflers with the metal baffles better. I thought about disconnecting the headlight and riding but not sure what condition the battery is in. If its sick I will need to get a new one

Your 450 Probably his a smaller sprocket on the back.

I definitely wouldn't ride while over charging, the electrical systems on these things are finnicky enough as it is without that! Specially if it fries your ignitor...

The sprockets on the 450 are 16/45 on the E's, what's on the 300?
