What is the idea of the pivot bushings, I thought the stock swing arm axle would fit the new swing arm, looks like that is going straight through the new swing arm.

What is your headstock rake? You can adjust it by raising and lowering the rear end. Somewhere in the 23-25 degree range is good for handling - quick steering but not nervous. A little bit of front wheel weight bias is a good thing, like 51-52% front and 48-49% rear.Last edited by Guest; 11-13-2012, 09:01 PM.Comment

I had a machine shop make me a pair of swing arm pivot bushings and a new swing arm bolt. We cut the old ones out and welded the new ones in. I went from a 750E to an 1100E swing arm.Originally posted by akckhim View PostsigpicMrBill Been a GSR member on and off since April 2002

Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.Comment
