      Is that an '81?

From memory compliance was stamped 80. painted V&H headers i think, def not MAC though. Not a huge fan of the colour myself, trying to track down the different factory paint codes and pictures.

Some cleaned up frame work, rearsets mounted, front tank mounts moved to level out the tank.

Starting to mock things up, think i may have the rear sets a little to aggressive, may need to be dropped a little. Seat mounts done. next up is under seat/ducktail electrics and battery tray.
Trying to work out if i need a return spring on this 98 gsxr rear master cylinder....

                      slow going

Thought i'd throw some more pics up for anyone that cared.

Things have been moving slowly as i moved into a new place (much bigger garage) and summer has hit which means ive been out on the red GSX1000 and my dirt bike alot on the weekends.

                      New work space

                      Motogadget M-unit, Dyna and SH775

Decided to hide my wiring in copper piping, polished up some bits as well

Also have alot of sanblasting to do, so building my own (largish) cabinet to do it all in.

                      Major distraction...........

I pat myself on the back for shrink-wrapping my wiring alterations, that copper looks very trick.
Is Mick any help in the shop?

Mick is the foreman, he came signed for me by Mr Doohan from a charity auction a few years back...wherever you move in that shed his eyes will follow you haha

Double heat shrink on all joins/connectors is standard on this bike, electrical problems are the worst!

Hey Steve, still got that S sitting here waiting for you, you still want it? Give me a call when you're free sometime.

Progress (not much) photos. Spring is here so putting in a bit more effort to finish before Christmas this year.

Tank base white painted, checking tank and seat lines:

                              Finished the sandblaster cabinet:

Tank was too white, added some features:

                              Checking riding position/resets:

Got myself some 41mm VTR1000 forks. Using the GK triples i already had. GS discs won't be used, just placed on here to get an idea on the spacers i will need:

Looks like i will need some quite large spacers even with 23mm offset discs. Hopefully spoke wheels when laced will clear the calipers otherwise i might be back to the GK forks:

Hope everyone's builds are going well!

Nice work on the blast cabinet.
Looks big enough to get a frame in there.
