Glad to hear she's running well Nate! Well, aside from the charging issue that is... hopefully you get that sorted real soon.

Did you get away with just a warning or did they write you an invitation to the policeman's ball?

Just noticed all my postimage.org picture links have died...
not sure what's happened, postimage tell me no changes at their end, but the links are broken nonetheless.

too many pics to go back through and repost them, so I'll let this thread die finally (wiping away a tear), with before and after pics.
ive enjoyed posting this build... so Ill have to start another I guess

          as as I got it,

          About half way,

          Finished,

Thanks Pete, you've been there from the start of my posting mate and I appreciate the comments and kind words.

i really just log in here now to see how your Kat is coming, that thread is epic in posts and views.
its a good feeling when you finish, but it leaves you needing to start a new project to fill your time!

Any time Nate, always enjoy following along and seeing the results.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the Kat progress!

Yep I remember how it was to get the 450 done, looking forward to the Kat finish now too... I reckon I've got two things lined up already post-Kat... a refresh of the 450 once the Kat is bedded in, then the little YB100 sitting around the side of the house although no idea what I'll do with it yet.

                So what's your next one?

YB100? Just had to google what that was, could make a cute little city scrambler...

ive got that PE250 I want to get registered and turn into some kinda of 2smoker street flat tracker.
but I also want a comfy 2 up long distance bike for the wife and I to get out and look at the country side, so at the moment that's developing into quite a long list of bikes to look at, a GS GK is on that list.
A friend has also just bought an 83 1100 Katana that has an 1150 motor in it, it's pretty rough and has asked me to fix it up and get it back to factory, so currently I'm hunting around for an 1100 motor.

It sure did turn out nice.
With all the packing and repacking of baffles /mufflers that you did, any chance you have a video so we can hear those lovely pipes?

Yeah undecided on the YB... maybe a little brat style minimalist commuter or maybe even a track bike... I'm gonna look ridiculous on it either way

The PE sounds like fun! But getting something to take the other half out and about is important... decisions, decisions hey?

You'll have to post up what you do with the Kat, there can never be too many Kat threads or pic's...

And plus 1 to Steve, I'd love to hear those pipes too!

Took a quick video while I was trying to sort out the charging problem..
Carbs seem super noisy in the video.
