                  Just came in from clear coating the fairing. Im rather proud of myself for tackling such a complex project. I was looking back at older posts of the tank and tail cowl and i gotta say this is by far the most involved job ive done so far.

                    Some, like me, will say that painting an S like that is a royal pain in the backside. Looks good chuck. Keep going...

                          Tonights episode... final wet sanding and final clear. So smooth and shiney. Time to say good enough and walk away. If i tried another heavy coat like this one i would get a run.Thats just how my luck rolls so ill graciously walk away now.

                              Steve, I was given a 78 C model and i had a set of E rims and forks so i thought why not transform it into a red clone. So i am doing just that. To catch up heres the thread on the free C model. It was roached pretty bad.

                                Painting an S is really more difficult then most people might think it is. Getting it all symmetrical and correct, especially the tank stripes, tests the patience and skill of even the best painter. Your's looks real nice, Chuck. You should be proud. Can't wait to see it all assembled.
