Still got the engine and bodywork to sort out. I'm debating whether to split the cases. This kitty has suffered a lot of abuse so I might need to eyeball it's guts to be sure there is nothing untoward internally. I'll drop the sump plate and see what I can deduce regarding shift forks, that sort of thing.

But, I spy, the front right rotor is actually meant for left hand side, isn't it?
She arrived fitted with two left hand discs. Can't see ’em when you're riding.

Thanks Steve, (and thanks Dave) you know the tide is turning when you're finally bolting things together rather than taking stuff apart.

Thanks Salty, I've ordered a seal and piston set from Webike in Japan.

    DIY spring compressor

    Straightened and painted

The headlight is pretty bad so a replacement is on the way

    More bent bits to straighten

One of the headlight ring mounting tabs was missing so cut one out of panel steel and sweat soldered it in.

Rear caliper pistons are pitted, so will have to be replaced

    Two cylinders not firing.

But I think I got that sorted, fired it up just this morning and seems ok now. But the headlight no longer works
