Agreed about tire pressure penalties. Draconian

Marc had to ride behind his brother during one race, because his tire pressure was too low. He did so for most of the race, then pulled ahead in the last few laps to win. Vinales didn't know his pressure was off? Typically, riding behind someone causes the pressure to increase, and he rode in 2nd place, so his tires may have been particularly low.

Nice to see 3 different brands on the podium @ Silverstone.

Absolute bummer for Quartararo, guess when the regulations change in 2027 there will be no more shape shifters allowed?

How sad it is, to have your bike fail, after you clawed your way to the front…
            However:
            Hurray for Bezzecchi
            Hurray for Zarco
            Hurray for Marquez

Weird race, almost a Homeric saga

Back in the GS era, mechanical failures during races was all too frequent! Those two-stroke engines ran on the ragged edge at all times! Not to mention, the chassis were snappy, and loved to pitch the rider off! And tires... We have come a LONG way. Failures like Quartararo experienced are extremely rare.

Well I bought the Live Pass to the 2025 IOM TT.
Similar to blasting down Michigan country roads, but considerably more intense. The IOM TT is much safer for the riders too.

It is so nice to see the home town friendliness and lovely countryside of the Irish road races. Plus, I like to see gray haired riders.
Compared to the concrete airport sterility and paranoid pit access of motogp.

Bummer, Peter Hickman crash & injured. He was going very strong in his qualifying.
Looks like he crashed while reducing speed before an upcoming corner at Kerrowmoar.
