A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

To bad I now live in Ohio would love to see it I was there for 7 years from 83 to 90 and into fast cars at the Time had a 1969 and 1980 Camaro it was to hot for this northern boy down there

I don't think I am going to make it -- the travel costs alone put me over $1000 -- any sponsor ship travel money would be appreciated. :)

I have a buddy that lives 9 miles away from the track... free place to sleep. Now we need gas, food and tickets... Still can't afford it. Back to Great Lakes next spring...

Food you don't need food. Fasting will make you lighter and give you quicker reaction times

I thought of that, but time off work I don't get paid... Vacation won't kick in till February. And I am still trying to but a Air Clutch cheap or a Squatch. I tried to buy one on ebay, but lost interest when it went over 200... ended at 255.

Are you looking for an air clutch that works with the clutch lever. If you are I have one that has been sitting on the shelf for a long time now. It is an old MRE setup. I could hook you up with it.

I would like to get a picture of the Mre air clutch, if you can... I want to be able to leave off a button release. I will wait word from you... Thanks in advance. And I wish I could got to Florida, but no such luck.

Ok I dug it out an I don't think it is made by MRE but it just has a MRE sticker on it. It was given to me years ago but I will never use it so you are welcome to it if you want it.
PM me your addy and I will send it to you.

Great looking bike... Supprised it doesn't do back flips running 9.50's. Let me know what shipping is and I will pay that at least... Appreciate the kindness.

If you need free food, lodging, and pit crew, let me know and I will tell my buddy down there that his house and help have been offered...(:

I will get it out to you this week.
"Back flips" yep it will put you on your ass super quick if your not paying attention. It was at 61'' last time I raced it. I put a 1250 swingarm and longer extensions on it so it is setting at 66'' now. I should be able to pull some low to mid 1.40's 60' footers.
I wish they would let us use a slider clutch. I use a slider in my 85 GS1150 with no bar 61'' wheel base but I run that in Pro ET but I won't be running it at this race because I took the Bandit swingarm setup that I took off of this Bandit and put it on my 85 GS1150 which will put the wheel base at 66'' and I am still working on it some other things for it.
I was thinking I should bring my 84 GS also just to see what it runs I have never made a pass on it yet. whatac think should I bring it?

First things first... You have too many toys! If you have help at the the track and a big enough trailer, bring them all. How far do you live from the track? And how crowded will it be? I have never been to a big race. The closest was ADRL in Cordova last spring... bring a photographer so we can see all the toys...
Have fun...
