    Heat Resistant Covers?

I wasn't sure where to post this

Has anyone tried using a BBQ cover?
It just occured to me that if a large enough one could be found, they would be ideal. they are heavy, so they wont come off in wind or stomes, (I sadly must keep my baby outside) They protect again UV, water, and they are very heat resistant. they are also open around the bottom, so air can pass through

Ideal for what? (I'm not trying to be sarcastic or anything)

      oh sorry

I mean ideal as a bike cover. I'm having trouble finding one in my area that provides the protection I want at a price I'm willing to pay.. this unfortunately has resulted in the use of a tarp, garbage bags, duct tape...etc.
So I've started looking for BBQ covers. seems like they would do the job... am I missing something? is there something that a motorcycle-specific cover does that a BBQ cover doesn't?

Ummmmmm... it's shaped more like a motorcycle?

As long as it's big enough, there's nothing wrong at all with using whatever works.
