Y'all seem to have forgotten the most basic item. Before you can show what's in your garage, ya gotta have a garage!

Well, that would require having garage, and having shelves... and I suppose having a bike then having only the tank.
Er, um, well, maybe having a bike and then getting another tank .... yah, why is it that you guys have extra tanks...?

I have extra seats, from getting upgrade/replacement and keeping the original. (no need for picture of cluttered stack of boxes in corner.)

I picked up a tank, front fender, and tail piece years ago, at a great price.
The plan was to have them painted and replace the ones on my GS, but it hasn't happened yet.

Ed's Garage - Raiders Man Cave

Alright, you guys know how I love to post pics of my garage...and I happen to have two tanks removed from my "T's".

Here's how my riding "T" currently sits. I need to remove and rebuild the forks and I have a new ignition switch to install. I'm putting off the GS1100 dual fork upgrade until I can get them cleaned.

It's a tight squeeze but I've got the riding mower wedged in there pretty good.

And....here's the reason I am delaying my work -- TKR (Total Knee Replacement).

I'm having the left knee done as well...only 4 weeks in between surgeries...call me crazy but I only have 12 weeks of short-term disability before my employer can let me go! It's been just over two weeks and I've graduated to a cane from the walker.

I have a lady friend who's just too scared to have her knee done. WAY overdue, she rather limp around with a cane.

                            Thanks Bill,

I had both knees scoped during military career (2001 & 2004) for torn medial meniscus.

My current job of 17 months was the culprit for my decision. Walking 13-15K steps, M-F and only the wknds to recover was too much for me to endure.

I'll take more pics of my garage as I have acquired a Kobalt rolling toolbox!

Ed, best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Waaay back in the 90s my father had both knees done at the same time. He didn't want to have to do two recoveries - he wasn't one who liked to sit still. It really changed his life for the better.

Thanks for the kind words Glen.

I can't imagine having no strength in both knees while doing the simple things at home like going to the toilet and taking a shower. That's why I have to heal the new knee and bring power back to my thigh so I can repeat the healing process.

I'm slowly starting to learn that lounging around and being cooped up at home can be depressing. I asked my wife if we could go out to dinner after my first visit to the Dr. That was a painful experience! He put pressure on my joint to get it to -4? on the exam table. The aspirin I've been taking has prevented swelling in my ankle.

Sorry for being long-winded but "yes!", this is a life changing experience. An improved Quality of Life.
