I have just done this fix on my 80 GS850G

This is what you are looking for from Autozone or Advance Auto Parts... somewhere like that..
Throw away the clamp and the grease, you dont need them.
Then, cut past the 3rd rib from the small end at the smallest portion of the opening.
It is a bit of a tight fit but you can stretch the smaller (cut) end over the drive shaft tube on the swing arm.
Then re-use the clamp from the old boot and stretch the larger opening over the case.
Replace the original clamp and tighten it up.
This is what it looks like when you have it done.
It holds great and seals up the drive shaft excellent.
Hope this helps everyone that needs to do this as it is a quick inexpensive fix.
