      Yep, that's been the "standard" primer on tire changing for several years.

      I've changed a whoooooole buncha motorcycle tires using a 14" car wheel from a junkyard. There's a piece of 1/2" all-thread through the middle and washers set up to hold the car wheel down and go through the center of the motorcycle wheel to hold it in place. A piece of heater hose slit down the middle protects the motorcycle rim.
