so i got a set of front rotors from a 82 gs1100e on my 78 gs750, it works grate except that i have about 2mm of the pad sitting down below the contact area. anyone got any suggestions on how to get the rotor centered?1982 GS1100E front brake rotors on a 78 gs750e?

Fit the later calipers. That is the only way - and the rectangular pad type calipers give way better braking.79 GS1000S

Anything after 1980. The type that uses the FA51 pads are the best I reckon (but there's not a lot in it).79 GS1000S
