    Top fork bushings

Ola GSers, got a question, I'm planning to have my fork lowers powder coated. Though after stripping them down and such, I remember they have a teflon bronze bushing at the top of the leg. How is the heat gonna affect them? I went through several parts suppliers and no one shows a replacement for the top bushings. They do show the replacements for the sliders. Looking forward to hear what anyone has to say about this.

Part number 51152-45400 for the bushes.

The heat from the powder coating process won't trouble those bushes a jot.

Well they just won't pop out, they are some what pressed in. I've taken some of before, just gotta get a peel started and out they come.
