I did the Progressive upgrade front and rear recently on my 850. I got about an inch more height as a result and a vast improvement in ride quality and handling.

Also if you remove the rotor and the timing plate from that 1100 motor before getting started I found that it gives you a good place to grab on to and makes it a little easier when removing and the reinstall.

It's a nice bike but way too big for me . I sat on it and my feet are about 4" from the ground.

I'm 5' 1 1/2" so you could say I'm a bit vertically challenged

What breed of shocks did you get ? Springs for the front end as well ?
