    Worst brakes ever?

from the rear of my bike. The rotor is about .050" under spec, but looks "tired", not trashed. I never heard, or felt a thing !

I never felt, or heard a thing ! Rotor looks tired, but I've seen a lot worse !

And my Clymer manual does not contain the words "wheel bearings" !!!
Now, where was that 1000G service manual download ?????

The rear brakes on my 850 have had that appearance too, and I never heard anything from them either.

          Meh, brakes are over rated.

Who uses the rear brake anyway?

              A lot of POs, apparently.

                "Rear" brakes you say?

I wonder if any of my bikes have em...

Rear brakes are used to polish rotors, and nothing else.

I use my rear brake a lot. I don't use it for stopping though.

Rear brakes are only good for rear steer. (on a dirt bike)

On my Sportsters the only reason i ever stepped on the pedal was that it was connected to the only working brake light switch. Other than that you might as well have been dragging your feet.

Harley brakes are tiny, even on modern ones.

Big huge fat hogs have smaller brakes than a 1980 GS.

                            I like my rear break!
Stopped on a incline and waving at the pretty girl driving the other way.
Difficult to do with one hand holding in the clutch!

Riding the rear brake while riding the clutch will so some amazing things for very low speed maneuvering. Surprisingly learned some things from a Cop on a Road King.
