Hi, would there be any problems running MT 66's on the front and Sport Demons on the rear on 1981 GS 1000's??? Thanks Randy

What does Pirelli recommend? They usually have suggested pairings of fr and rr tires.

You won't die or anything, but the MT66 isn't quite as sticky as the Sport Demon. Probably wouldn't be an issue unless you're racing or something.

Only a problem if you don't like to fall down in corners. Ultra sticky in the back and loosey goosey in front doesn't sound like a very good idea to me. Try the Sport Demons on both ends, you will be impressed.

I have mixed Sport Demon on the rear with Shinko 230 on the front with excellent results. (The SD was not available in the size needed on the front)
