    Well nuts. That sinks.

I just finished installing a new Shinko on my 81 GS1100E.

Now one of my rim protectors is missing. Now I've got to unmount it to see if it's inside the tire. I pushed the bead in a far as I could and didn't see it but I can't find it anywhere else.

I hate making more work for myself. Nuts.

Yeah, there's a story there too but the rope broke off earlier so... no rope on one. Yes, that's the one that is missing.

Yeah. That stinks. Better than a buggered up rim tho.
I feel your pain, I am working hard to get my 850 project on the road and am having some last minute setbacks with this and that. Keep on wrenchin.

I pulled one bead and got it out. Aside from one blemish on the rim it is all good now. When I decide what color I'm going to powdercoat I'll clean it up.
