The conti go's are diving because you went from a 90 side wall to an 80 and the tire is smaller in over all diameter. I hav e a 83 750 e since new and have run 130/90/17 rear and 100/90/16 fronts for ever with no issues

Yeah, that is what I figured, that is why I want to go to stock.

I like the Pirelli Sport Demons though they are not a long lasting tire. I also liked the Bridgestone Battle Axes which developed a flat spot on the rear tire but I've only tried them once.......

Meh, they're all round, black and somewhat sticky.

What you didn't state was what you are looking for. Cheap? Long lasting? Great handling?

Value based on all those factors.

they are all about the same price +/- $25 of the average
I don't ride much (I'm working on fixing that) so long lasting probably applies to safety after date of manufacture
I'm not a racer but would like to have confidence in turns

the price thing I can decide, the other two factors I need you guys' experience

This just in....Bridgestone has a $50 rebate and the BT-45 are eligible. that would be $141 for my set. that may be the winner
