    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

If you go for rides, maybe take picture, but dont look in OffTopic section

Maybe you havent seen this in Campfire. Is a photo game/contest, with a theme of the week. Post a pic you might have (or go for ride to get) that includes your bike (present or past) and you think meets the theme/category/subject of the week.

Last week the theme/category/subject was "critters".

Just to give you an idea, here are the submissions for that week

THat weeks game is over, and Rich82 got the most votes, and he selected the next (this weeks) topic/theme/category of "work". Rich provided a sample pic of his bikle parked at his place of work.

If you have any pics, that includes your bike, that you think fits the category/theme/subject of "work" you can post it to that thread in campfire

Doesnt have to be a pic at your place of work, just something that you think fits "work" somehow. Nobody disqualifies any entries as to weiter it qualifies or not. Is for fun to to see other folks bike pictures in different scenes.

Rules/procedure are stated in first posting on that thread. But in general, post pic before Friday, voting is on Friday (anybody can vote, dont need to have posted a pic). VOtes tallied Saturday morning, and winner then states the subject/category/theme for the next week.

To anyone interested, Burque73 (Roger) started this game back in January 2019, and it is still going.

It really is easy to play, rules are simple, (see below), and you can use old photos...(nice in the winter)

So please join us, and compete for fame and glory. (Sort of)

Any motorbike, any camera. Easy peasy...So join in here.

Rules:
  1. Today is Saturday, I'll start with a theme.
  2. Saturday to Thursday is submissions time. Everyone else can post one (and only one) picture that meets the theme.
  3. Friday is voting day. Vote for the picture you like the most. You can vote even if you didn't participate with a pic during the week. (voting closes at midnight, Pacific time zone).
  4. In case of a tie during the voting day, the first vote that breaks the tie the day after will decide the winner, unless of course one party wishes to concede to the other.
  5. Saturday, the winner of the week posts a new theme using an example picture.
  6. The example picture ALSO participates.
  7. Any bike can participate... not only GS's (as long as it was yours when the pic was taken)
  8. The date of the picture does not matter, or who took the pic. You can use new or old pics as long as you've got the bike in the pic (or as much of the bike as necessary for the theme) and they meet the week's theme.
Summarizing:
  • Saturday to Thursday: Pics that meet the week's theme are submitted.
  • Friday: Vote for your favorite pic of the week.
  • If you submit a pic for the week keep an eye on the votes you get, or at least check the thread on Saturday to see if you've won.
  • Saturday: The winner posts a new theme using an example photo.
