A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

  • Hi Larry,
My bike was very lumpy at low rpm. The alleged cause was stretching of the crossover cable to the right cylinder. Instead of plugging in my old mercury carbtune all I did was tighten up a bit on the throttle adjuster on the rhs and bingo the bike got a lot smoother, I will in time get around to doing the full balance like this... P52 onwards

My last day in the Ozarks. Quite windy again but 81 degrees so I'll take it. Fall foliage is excellent this time around.

    Nice Lar, Really Nice Shot.

Bike, Road, A good ways down the road a curve then another curve out of sight, curve sign, Scenery.
Nice really shows what the ride was like. And nice fall colors.
You get high points on the Redman Scale for roadside picture. har har har

So you go visit back home (west central Indiana), and take bike in truck, and on way back go thru the Ozarks, your 2nd home you say.
So, man, the 2 GSR rallys really do well for you, but that is not enough, you need more.....

    Hey!
Look at that, the bike without you in front of it.
THe bike, the road and the scenery (sometimes cant get both road & scenery), and you.
Well, you are blocking view of some of the road, but not much, the roadside scenery of the fall color is good.
But, still, a good score on the Redman Roadside Selfie Scale hee hee hee
For an extra credit on the RRSS, hold finger/thumb just off the button, and right before touching the button, divert eyes from the screen to the lens (then in picture will appear to be looking straight at the viewer).

Thanks for posting pic of the rides on your trip. You certainly picked a time of good weatehr for it, October in midwest can be cold and rainy, but you got nice weather.
You seem to be enjoying it, I would say that is what retirement is for, eh!
I should be doing more of it.

Thanks Dave. I'm working on the selfies but as I said, the subject matter is low on the scale. At least on mine.
Yeah I had some great weather on this trip. Got in 2,013 miles on the Triumph. But one morning I was leaving Clarksville Tn. heading up to Ind. and the outside temp was 39?. Brrrr!! I did have good winter gear on so it wasn't too bad. Just loved the warmer weather in Arkansas.
Today, I drove home and the 2nd half of the drive was in steady rain with the temps dropping by 20 degrees..Good time to be hauling bike in truck.
