I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Returning Visitors
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

So, I have done a count.

Confirmed. It’s more fun when more people vote. I urge you all to vote, every week, even if you don’t have an entry, but especially if you do. This week saw only six votes. Awesome! What a treat, thanks guys! I wonder how many people abroad have heard of this particular assembly of balloons, as there are many around the world. Most photographed event could mean something like a thousand people take 20k pics each or 20mil people take one pic each. Probably somewhere in the middle...
Very cool.This assemblage art piece is in the downtown area. You can't tell from a distance, but walking up to it you ralize it's thousands of spark plugs.

Oh good that showed up, or did anyway. I can't see where I introduced the theme and mentioned the assemblage art. I edited that post to phrase things differently and was in a rush to get out the door.

Ride yesterday, stopped in a shoreline tourist/resort town (another....) about 50 miles north of here.
Saw this in a little park overlooking the river channel and marina.
I thought
"huh? what?....... looks like blocks of wood assembled onto a dead tree trunk....."
"oh, hey, I said the word assembled.... ha... I do have camera in sidebag ..... go get bike... wait for a parking space to open up somewhere along here....."
Looking at it some more, I can see is blocks of wood, all same size, some split open some, made me think was done some time ago, could see was re-bar bent, and somehow inserted into the trunk, then the wood blocks probably had hole bored thru so could insert over/onto the re-bar. Looking some more can see slits in bark on the trunk, oh, the spacing of the slits is the size of the blocks, oh, maybe the blocks came from the limbs of this same tree. Hum, the blocks that are split some, maybe that came from pushing the blocks over the curves in the re-bar.
THen it occured to me, ha, this..... this is what I have been thinking about. If this is what I am thinking, maybe is why I often donty really apreciate some artwork. Ha, nothing really coming to me about, er, um, the condition of man on this earth, or something. I looked around. FOund a sign, (Pentwater Arts Counsul) that said the title is "Deconstructed Tree". THere was also a Learn More QR code there. But I spent my time trying different poses. Wasnt any way to get a more scenic background. Well, unless I got bike onto a dock in the marina.........
