A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Cool. So we just gotta wait out the wet weekend. Not so bad I guess. The bars on my bike are the Euro bars as opposed the the superbike type. But here's where I got them,

They also have the superbike bend in stock for around the same price. The difference in the two is pretty small, I think the euro bars have a little bit more rise built in. Here's the superbikes:

Got the bike back yesterday! Gotta say the rebuilt forks are a huge improvement too. I'm up for a ride sometime soon. I could use some Johnny's lol. This crap weather needs to go away though

Well as of yet the fork rebuild still hasn't happened.... I spent the weekend apartment hunting and getting ready to move in. I did find a very nice place though, and my girlfriend and I are moving in, so that's very exciting lol.
Fingers crossed for this weekend on the forks. I can't put it off for much longer, the ride has gone to crap. I miss working suspension.... It's a pain in the butt when your part's and good tools are 100+ miles away. I'll keep you posted. As soon as the bike rides nice again we should go for a celebratory ride!

Well I'm going to the beach this Friday (tough life I know), but how about the 17th? Would that work for you?
    T
I had an excellent camping trip, the perfect getaway from the stinky city. I do need a carb sync and would love to drop by. Are Friday's still good for you?

Wow - I used to be invisible... wonder how/when that changed? Oh well... changed back... yeah, poking around... feeling under the weather so doing some mindless things...

Thanks also Allie for the kind words. Paint looks good from a distance, but the clearcoat is starting to show it's age a bit. Was thinking of painting it tu-tone black and gold to honor my Pittsburgh Steelers! I'll be sure to post a pic when I get it done.
    Thanks again and ride safe!

:)Thanks Allie, thats a really nice GS yourself! I agree, it does, it seems.

Yeah, I'm pretty much as far west in NY as you can get without hopping straight into Lake Erie! I might just do that tomorrow to beat the heat!

That was one of the cool things about the whole trip - besides really connecting with people who understand me (a rarity), there were all sorts of nifty unexpected things everywhere. It felt great to just take it all in, like a kid watching fireflies (I did some of that too) without overthinking it all... I also had a lot of fun knowing I could say ANYTHING around my friends... I pulled some funnies around some rednecks, pretending I was one of them hee hee...

LOL I was having so much fun that I got behind on my school work. I'm in a major crunch to get caught up. Also, I uploaded photos and I don't know what my deal is (besides the time monkey that is always on my back) but I don't have the patience that I used to with uploading and labeling pics. I meant to get around to it here. I had an amazing time with friends, and once I hit WV, I met with friends I've known for a long time but never met in person. It was very spiritual and wonderful. I want to visit coal country again to understand how that area ticks. Anyway, I did upload to FB and this link should work for ya to see the pics and some captions I did post. Thanks for asking - it helps me re-enjoy those moment all over again - visiting my friends was about re-visiting me after being a little out of touch http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2046455&id=1169217458&l=3aa21f973b

A 750S sounds very cool! I'll check out your latest pics when I get home. I'm in the airport in Shanghai and will be flying for the next 17 hours :-( I'm scheduled to land around 3PM eastcoast time on Saturday. It's 8AM Saturday morning here now, making for a very long day indeed :-P

Zie Jang (goodbye for now), enjoy some riding for me :-)

Wow! Now that's service, I didn't expect you to get back with pics so fast. Be sure to share them on the Forum if you haven't already, I'm sure there would be many others interested to see what you're riding.

Great looking bike! I love that body style, it's the same as on the GS1000S Wes Cooley replica. The blue pinstripe sets off the darker blue paint (is that correct?), too. The location of the pics reminds me of home, I grew up in the countryside and worked on a farm during my university days (had a Zoology major).

As for your photography skills, you're pretty good I think, your composition and angles are perfect. Thanks Allie, have a great weekend!

Hey Allie, love that pic of the Flying Merkel and Indian motocycle! As for the Duke 900SS, I had one and it was amazing!!

Also, please post a few pics of your GS750N, I'd love to see it. Thanks.
