A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The fairing is off a sv650..It is a mini fairing.I had to modify the brackets for my headlight.
Paid more than I wanted with trip expenses, but unavoidable. $200 for bike, $250 for uhaul rental and gas to go get it. Was in Md for a drag race with my car club and hopped to NJ early that sat to snatch it. Used my buddies truck to bring it back to MI.
Going to be a road warrior for this summer. Try to work on little stuff every weekend while riding it. Noticed burnt stator wires already. Looking to crank it this week hopefully, and then title it. Just going to do a lost title for it. MI is pretty lenient and it has clean numbers

Nice!! Looks like it sat outside for some years though. Rusty Gold!! Is it gonna be resto or road warrior? Any luck with the title? And did you figure out the total after the road trip? When I picked up that GS1150 the road trip cost me another $250.

Are you gonna put up some pics?
Yes, I got back Sunday from NJ. Looks as described. Turned it over mon, so the electrical seems fine so far. Have to take out the airbox tonight and try to fire it. Before I start tearing into it.

how did it go? Did you get the 750?
Don't get your hopes up :) I'm going to start ordering some rebuild parts so I can get it running quickly and enjoy the summer with it. I'm hoping the engine is fine.
You are cornering the market for GS's. Sweet deal on the 1150. Looks like it was well kept.

Wait the other Gs750E is in Trenton Nj and he is down to $500 w/title.

The deal with the GS750ES in nj sounds on the up and up. If you can't get it I'm next in line so keep me posted. There is also a green GS750E in Philadelphia for $600 with a title. When you get a chance check out the pics of the GS1150 I just picked up for $800.
Im not sure what the plan is now. I really want a 750 after seeing yours. I need to reassemble carbs and fire my bike, havent been able to sneak the time in. Want to trade that 750;-)
