A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

  • Hello, I have a 1979 GS550e with a CV carb.(Maybe someone replaced the 79 carb with an 80)
I plan on replacing the current Chicom Air pod filters with UNI since i do not have the original air box. The pilot jet in the bike is currently 45.7. I believe stock is supposed to be 40
Do you have the correct pilot jet for these filters? (Rather than trial and error on my part.) Currently I cant get it to idle correctly and am ordering new O rings all around.

Hi, When fitting pods you need to fit air corrector jets which i have at ?37 a set delivered.
These go in the carb mouth air passage to the needle jet tube which is located at the 4 o'clock position on each carb.
The passage needs threading m5 x 0.8mm just deep enough for the jet to sit flush with the surface.
The pilot jet, needle position and other settings remain STOCK with only an increase of the main jet.
Your stock main should be 92.5 which needs to replaced by 132.5.
    Rob.
Greetings, I'm getting ready to fire up some rebuilt carbs on my 77 GS 750. I was reading on the form and saw your hair regetting kits and then the pieces for the choke. I'm interested in doing what I can to start the bike off right. It's not ran for a long time and I've just revealed it and I have yet to fire it up and put gas to it. With the Mikuni vm26, on a 7750, will your items in your signature line help line it out? My dad said before he Parks the bike the last time because it was running rich always, that no matter what he did it always seemed to run rich. I have a K&N filter in it and it has a four-in-one Vance & Hines exhaust on it. Thank you for your time
