If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I found the thread but it's 64 pages long to read. Anyone know the length of caliper mounting bolts with the bracket in place. I was gonna figure it out with a fit check but it's raining and I'd like to buy the bolts and powder coat the heads today

Wow I know I'm commenting on an old post but I just sent you a message Dan and long story short with your kits I bought years ago and concourse calipers and cbr600 f3 (I think f3). I opened up the rotor mount bolts and found they don't line up. So I have to center your mounting bolt spacer and...

    Hello from Hampshire UK

I think the '70s gs750 and gs1000 steel swinger is same length as the 80's gs11 box aluminum swinger and for sure all those shocks are 331mm

    Hello from Hampshire UK

Did the '80' box aluminum swinger fit in the '70s gs750 frame without spreading the frame tubes for passenger footpegs? And did you use same or same length shocks (331mm)??

    Chain and sprokets '79 gs1000e

Thanks all/ I ordered the DID 530VXGB-116 Gold X-Ring Chain and Sunstar sprockets 18 & 50T from Amazon/. I was between the RK and DID chains and buying the older model DID (they are up to V3 now) saved me $30. I went with the sunstar sprockets because that's what I had and I figured I might...

    Chain and sprokets '79 gs1000e

Thanks again for your help and input.. you may well be right enough that a quality 530 chain and sprockets will last about the same as a comparable 630 set up but I still think the larger pins, rollers and plates on a 630 has more strength because there's more material and more material means...

    Chain and sprokets '79 gs1000e

The 630 should be 20% stronger in theory an so require less adjusting and provide longer life

'77 gs750 jetted for pods vm26 fuel screw

Whoops sorry for way late reply.. yes it was looking like a coil or point set but made no sense jumping for 1-4 to 2-3 & I went through to swapping points snd condensers but think my final fix was connectors sinking current to the points

'77 gs750 jetted for pods vm26 fuel screw

    1977 gs750 not charging

My 1977 gs750 is not charging the battery.. (it was, but not now, and the battery is good) I found browned insulation at thd bullet connectors between the stator and rectifier which tells me something went south. Each stator leg to another reads 1.5 ohms and all three are open to ground so it...

I'm very happy with my home fabbed header and muffler because I have it snd it works well but I'm thinking I should buy another system before mine rots out.
