I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

GSXR "DOT" head on my GS1100

Interesting project! I will do slightly similar modification, but with modified Bandit 1200 cylinder block, extra oil pump for head cooling and oil drain pipes from cylinder head to the engine block. Engine bottom is from 1984 GS1150. Most difficult thing will be extra oil pump, but I have a...

    Points Ignition Upgrade

I have Ignitech TCIP4 ignition in my 1300cc GS1150. It?s not with tps-sensor but map-sensor. It?s using Suzuki original pick ups and trigger rotor. I have nothing bad to say about Ignitech. It have rev limiter what Dyna S don?t have. Ignition timing is computer programmable, etc.

    GS1100 Cam Lobe Centers

You can file the original cam sprocket bolt holes wider. You just need a good quality file and vise. I have modified several original cam sprockets, some by filing and some with milling machine.

    1150 EF updating project

The muffler outlet is 2" and muffler inlet 2 1/4". The exhaust sound is surprisingly quiet, probaply because the core is conical. It?s the first muffler I made for this bike. Primary pipes in the headers are 1 3/4", secondary pipes 2" and the collector 2 1/4".

    1150 EF updating project

It has gone a few years since last update. I never tested a inlet cam on exhaust side. Instead of that I resleeved the cylinder block with GSF1200 liners which are now bored to 80mm = 1327cc. There are also some other small modifications in the engine and with all those modifications it?s now...

    Gs850 + boost?

Forget turbo and install a supercharger. No need to think about oil pressure for the turbo because Eaton superchargers have no oil circulation. You can install the supercharger (Eaton M45) behind the cylinders and use for example S&S Super D carb on the sc intake. I have supercharged GS 1150...

Those are actual gas tanks. No sealer inside. It?s quite easy to weld gas tight welds if keeping aluminum and rods clean during welding. The project bike is ready and tested:

Get a good round file and file the bolt holes about two times wider than original bolt holes. It should be enough for the 1150 cams.

    GS 1150 oil thermostat modification

I have stock block 1327cc supercharged GS 1150 and as project bike I?m building 1360cc stock block GS 1150 cafer racer. Few years ago I put Mocal oil thermostat on my supercharged GS. It worked ok but an external thermostat make the oil leak possibility bigger (more hose connections). That?s why...

    Third time

According to the man who repaired the crankshaft, Old engines use to have sludge in the crank web groove from where the oil is forced by centrifugal force in the big end bearing. When this sluge looses, it can block the oil hole and/or damage the big end bearing rollers, races or journals. This...
