A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Page can not be found.... pretty regularly

Hard to imagine how the # of guests (bots) scraping up data has increased enough within the past month or so to change things this much. Until recently it almost never happened, now it's every day.

Page can not be found.... pretty regularly

This was brought up a couple of weeks ago when I think most everybody had the trouble. That, I thought, was taken care of, but still today it's kind'f regular that I get this message. It won't last but an hr. or so, then things are back to normal... No clue if my old outdated computer or the site. ,

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

If Busa gets collector plate for over 20, should be a double collector plate for the rest being over 40... Trevor, I'd love to ship you a tanker full of non-ethanol but the folks at the border probably wouldn't like it.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Funny how those old bikes still appear to be new and modern... Wondering, is non ethanol gas available in Canada? We can get it but appx. $1.00 gal. higher than the ethanol.

    [GS750T] - Suzy is Fixed!

If you used a box from a GSX750S, you may find some black covers to fit, but unless Suzuki used that box on other bikes I don't think there won't be any chrome. Possibly put in part # for the GSX750S air box to one of those places that will show other bikes that part # is used on. If that box...

What glue - for decal on side panel

Shoot, ya'll, make things tooo complicated... Small piece of tape stuck appx. 1/8" to 1/4" up on both ends of face of emblem with an inch or so hanging off. Turn side to be glued up, install glue, use the pieces of tape hanging off ends to lift emblem, align it, and stick it down. After glue...

    [GS750T] - Suzy is Fixed!

Thinking on most GS's that had the covers, the cover is a separate part and part # held on with screws... The GS750 "T" must be kind'f special.... Good luck, bike looks great,

Hard to pick between kids or dogs, so this week it's between Stator and ring tail... Voting for marvinsc, I've always had a soft spot for those little varmints.

Sorry, i can't help... But looking at a parts diagram for carbs on a "82" GS650G could possibly show show enough to let you see what you're missing

Thoughts about the website in general

Thanks Rich, been wondering if it my old computer or the GSR site... When this kind of stuff happens, Is there a reasonable way to know which is amiss... Thanks Frank for all you do.

Can you show me your rear end? (of your bike, of course)

Didn't look at all parts diagrams but did look at several. It seems all "80" GS 1000's and GS1100's use those same brackets (part # 41580-45000-019 RH and 41590-45000-019 for LH). Also "78" GS750 use them Did look at "84" GS1150 and saw nothing like them... Saw somewhere that those brackets just...

    Pic of the week game

Probably the best bunch of pictures we've had, though only 1 or 2 folks recognize any of the subjects... I'm voting for the one everybody here should recognize, voting Rich82gs750tz and "STATOR", Heck everybody knows Stator.

Can you show me your rear end? (of your bike, of course)

Sorry, I got no pictures but if you look at the parts diagram for your bike, go to the turn signal page, there's a picture of the turn signal bracket that bolts to the frame. You may be looking at them in your parts and just don't realize it. Hopefully they are there.
