A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

  • I see you have or had a ZRX1100… I sold mine before moving here. Was a 1999. I’d installed ZX11 cams and semi-downdraft carbs on it, was pretty quick. Believe it or not, one of my twin boys learned to ride on it, and was then riding way too fast on it. My wife was glad to see it go. Frank

at 70 yr. old, all my bikes need to go, but there;s an individual reason I like each of them... If I get around to getting rid of them, I'm pretty sure the ZRX will stay... Only neg. I've ever had with it, WHY THE HECK NO CENTER STAND ??????? Changing rear tire, for me, is a huge pain in the butt. What did they gain by not having one???

Thanks a lot, turned out pretty dang good. Do see, as you mentioned the pictures thru text aren't as vivid as on her phone. Really appreciate what you do for me and all the other folks here at GSR needing help.

Rich, my wife thinks she sent you a picture for this wks. pic of the week, The "END" of the road, in an email. Wondering if you got it. should be from deloresphillips34@gmail.com or dcp240sx@hotmail.com. No clue why she has 2.
My bike is a 1978 GS1000 with 31k miles on it. Traded it for a work van I wasn’t using anymore. Bikes in really good condition for its age. Seat looks new aftermarket. I’m putting new tires on it this season. Replaced some plastic parts for cosmetics. Added some nice chrome rear view mirrors as turning my head does not feel safe lol.

SuperFly, welcome to GSR, but you must have me confused with someone else. I haven't had a tank for sale on here for yrs. Hope you get it figured out, and good luck.
Hi, my name is Bob Shaw, I live in Christina, TN. I have a 79 Yamaha triple, xs750 Special, almost 16 k on it. Bike runs very well but I am looking for a GS, I've owned two in the past and really liked them. My Yamaha is in real good shape. Would you consider a trade for a Suzuki equal to what I have? If you check on the other bikes section of the forum you can see a picture of my bike
Hello again, yes I got your message below. Let's plan for me to stop by your place. I'll give you a week's heads up before I come your way. You can think over whether you'd consider selling (or if there is something else you might be willing to part with). The 1100 might be more bike than I want at my age...

    Thank you,
    Henry

"For some reason I can't send PM's, nor reply to yours since the GSR was redone, or updated, last yr.. Not sure if this will work. I'm not even sure if I'll be selling my "G" or not, just something that's been thought about. That being said, if you're route to Chatta. is by I-65, you'd be passing within appx. 10 mi. of me, all country area, no traffic to deal with. You may want to just take a look to see if it may, or may not even be something you may be interested in. Bunches of folks have never seen nor heard of these bikes. I don't know where this message is going, it said create message and had a place for your user name, so I'm sending it. Hoping you can find it."
BTW if the weather allows (looks like winter may be here) I could ride the ZR11 out for a sandwich so you can see it first hand. Although at this point I'd rather ride the GS 1000!
So many bikes, so little time.

Yep, drastically cooler today, makes us think WINTER is near. We're usually around. ZR, GS, they're all bikes
