A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Fall Farmington Ride - aka: Dave Davis Memorial Ride

I'm missing all the good riding this year. Unfortunately, this aligns (as usual) with my company's international users group meeting. I have to be there. This year it'll be in Phoenix...so at least it'll be hot. I'll miss those lovely roads and hanging out with everyone. Have fun.

Dang it, I'm out. I'll be in Canada for work. Seems like work and family stuff are conspiring against me for all the fun trips this year. :(

Love Push Mountain Rd. Last time I was up there with Dave Ruocco and his boy we rode it 3 times. It really has a nice flow. Glad you're enjoying the area.

    Rabacanda Street Bike Tire Changer

I'm glad I have it. Probably used it 3 or 4 times and successfully mounted the tires every time. I won't say I completely have the hang of it yet, but I'm getting there. I bought a BMW GS not too long ago. It needs a special rear wheel adaptor that I bought. Looking forward to trying it out on...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Bought it about this time last year. Put 10k miles on since then. I really like it. The power is addictive, and it handles pretty well. Still working some ergonomics issues (seat, handlebars, windscreen, etc.) but nothing that's a showstopper. Biggest problem I have is how fast it goes through...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Earlier this week I took some vacation days and spent them with Joe Nardy in the Smoky Mountains. alke46 even joined us for a day. What a great place to ride. So many curvy mountain roads. As usual, I didn't take many pictures. But, here are the ones I did take: At one point we stopped for...

Understand 100%. For me, this saves me time, space, and aggravation. Now that I've used it, I'll say worth every penny. But that's just me.

    Rabacanda Street Bike Tire Changer

I love being able to change my own tires. I've used tire irons to change them on the ground, I've used alke46's homemade tire changer setup and it's better, I've used Joe Nardy's NoMar and it's better yet, Then I bought this the other day and it beats them all. Can't wait to change more tires...

You probably know I am Goldwing addicted - You can be too -- Look Inside ;)

Neil Sullivan brought his DCT Goldwing to an Ozarks rally a while back. He put it sport mode and rode the heck out of those twisty roads. Had no problem keeping pace with the rest of us. And we were not loafing around. Also, I think it's safe to say that he had more comfortable trips riding to...
