A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Need a good navigation app for Iphone

Yeah Rich, I'm playing around with Calimoto when I can. Seems like I've been spending to much time on the Honda Barko-lounger lately and it doesn't have a phone holder. I'm hopeful that I get it figured out before Brown County!:encouragement: I want to track some of those routes.

Need a good navigation app for Iphone

I am seeking the GSR hives' input on a navigation app to use with my iPhone when on the bikes. I did a search but most of the results that I found were from a while back, and of course, technology does change! Can anyone recommend a good app that works well for planning and tracking routes...

Replacing just the fuel fuel lines

Surprised it hasn't been mentioned already, but.........if the fuel tee has been sitting dry for a while it "may" stop leaking once it gets fuel in it as the o-rings will swell.

De-rusted the spare fuel tank for the '82 1100E today in prep for the final paintwork. Waiting on decals to arrive from Diablo Cycle, and then stick 'em on and time to spray some 2k clear! Hope to have it finished in time for Brown County! Edit: The postman delivered! Got the decals and stuck...

    My new bike!

The case saver are .......quite........possibly........maybe........ factory parts, I've never owned a set that I was SURE were factory parts. The rear rack is an aftermarket piece, I believe. It does not look at all like my factory rack.

I think there may be an issue with you getting the submissions????? I have sent pics of my bike twice, and also sent a request that you have received the submission, with no responses. Has anyone else submitted their bike in the last month or two? Maybe mine is just not worthy of such a high...

That's a fairly rare piece of hardware. Most on Fleabay go in the $200 range. GLWS!

Powder coat or spray paint frame

I've had 2 frames powder coated and I will never paint another one! Paint is easier to fix if you get any chips, but the powder coat doesn't chip as easily! Both of my frames came out a lot glossier than the painted one, but that may depend on what paint is used. And yes, you can forget about...

    New to me 1978 GS750

You may be thinking of the '78 GS1000C colors??? They were available in blue and maroon, along with the black GS1000E "skunk". I checked the garage and the '78 GS750E is still black!:p
