A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

A sad story about Sexually Transmitted DISEASE

As morals and morality itself increasingly become unwelcome in the lives of a great many, the injuries this causes to innocents is lost in the darkness. Perhaps deliberately. Sexually Transmitted DISEASES are carried and transmitted by millions, but today we euphemistically call them...

I am sure some of us thought it could never happen

Many of us saw him both arrive and then evolve, first as an indomitable world karate champion, then as movie actor and TV actor, but always a man of faith who had very strong morals and integrity. He actually did become a legend in his own time and, again for many of us, a real-world hero...

    an I-told-you-so moment

Moreon the subject of food allergies: S It is not common, but some people are allergic to potatoes. Science has been hard at work to determine why. The latest science now tells us tubers are the root cause.

    an I-told-you-so moment

Allergies, particularly the over-hyped peanut allergy, are very often created in children by their own mothers. I posted that statement here years ago. At that time it went against most commonly (and rigidly) held misbeliefs. Unfortunately, in a world where the self-interests of quacks and...

    Fascinating bits of history

I liked this s article from Popular Mechanics We often brag and say we are the most advanced ever, and then comes something from thousands of years ago that shows we were behind before we began. The article includes a photo so please just click on the link...

    How our world is changing

I have no comment to make, except to note that some people are not only reading but are apparently believing the tropes about what the future holds... and, whether it be good or bad, they are acting on those beliefs. This "perception of the future" is from Popular Science It’s a common...

    Rip off or not?

Best tire story I know of is this Lady called me and complained she was on the highway and her car, a retired Ford taxi, felt very wrong. She told me where she was and I told her to get off at the next exit, turn left. A Ford dealership was in that direction, but it was too late for them, so I...

    Vacuum Tires?

I don't see any misunderstanding . The ad says it is a blackwall tubeless vacuum tire and apparently it fits all Harley Davidson models . That sounds perfect for sucking up the endless hot air from H-D owners and it comes with a 60 day warranty that will cover an entire hauling/riding season...

    IQ test pop-ups

Stretching memory a bit..... probably ten years....... we had an IQ link with a contest about who could use it with the aim of achieving the lowest number. I do not recall the results but I think Schweisshund managed something less than 80.

    About those feathers....

I have to take care of a tiny sparrow that died on my back deck and is lying beside the large bin where I keep the seeds that I feed them with all winter. I just saw it there as I was dumping a 50 pound bag of sunflower seeds into the bin. Birds of this size, as well as bigger, need a constant...

    IQ test pop-ups

Never considered that, but I believe you are correct,.:) I used to consider posting the boxes on trees with warnings while kids were playing on them: If you are climbing a tree and hear a crackle, get off before the limb snaps and your drink bottle breaks with a pop when you hit the ground.
