Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Official Cannabis warning

Here's my solution. Grow mild to mid grade outdoor strains selling only flower to the general public and keep the prices affordable. Indoor grown "boutique" weed with jacked up prices for the those wishing to induce Downs Syndrome and leave the extracts for medical use only.

You can argue with me all you want but it wont do any good.

Are you guys serious? How do you think I've lived this long? Maybe you should make this a poll? Yet that wouldn't be fair though, as there are still countries where it is illegal, and many probably won't incriminate themselves. A couple of studies is all you have... (Still love ya!) lol

Ya. We need a label on everything, surprised we don't have drowning hazard labels on bottled water. At least pot is somewhat legal here.

The best night sleep I ever had is when I spent the night at Patti's house...

People I know that partake in Cannibus in one way or ten others with concerns over the new rescheduling are the ones home cultivating. In the U.S.

Everyone else doesn't seemed to be concerned as the folks at the dispensary say nothing will be any different there ?

The pro cannibus folks who have working for decades to get this far have been foiled by the people who abuse it, and I mean the public displays of affection, like using it in stores, in drive thru , the ultra high percentage cannibus and people not respecting their freedom.

Like they do with everything !

I plan on, if still possible when I retire to get a grow set up , kind of for a hobby , know half dozen people doing that and it looks like fun !

I believe it does help people het thru some physical ailments

In the 1970s, I smoked pot every day of high school and college. It was cool then. (Also not hallucinogenic. We had acid for that.)

Now that it's legal, what's the point? The goshdarned gubmint took all the fun out of it! :biggrin-new:

Hear about that gubmint (FEMA) official who said that (while on heavy meds) the "hand of God transported him" to Waffle House? (He was 20 miles away, and then he suddenly woke up in Waffle House.)

We used to just call it drunk driving!

I remember years ago I would occasionally get a whiff of a dead skunk while driving. Seriously, barely a mile goes by without smelling it today. Either skunks are much dumber than they used to be or people are.:p

"Skunk weed," we used to call it. Hiding the smell, ducking away from crowds with a few of the cool kids (the 'In Crowd' - GREAT song, btw), all part of the fun!

Thai sticks...Blanco y Negro...carburetors...huge bongs in every dorm and college apartment...Bob Marley's Rastaman Vibrations album cover with the pitted, course surface to aide in cleaning weed...head shops in the back of record stores, selling black lights, day-glo posters, drug paraphernalia and ZAP! Comix...

R. Crumb ruled!

Haha we called it skunk weed too...and Innerkip ditch weed (the village I grew up in) my dad used to say to me and my buddies...."you boys been smokin' that electric lettuce"? Lol...I still call it that today :)

My dad used to say anyone caught with a single joint should do 99 years. True story.

When I was fifteen once I had 6 joints in my shirt pocket. He saw the bulge and stuck his fingers in.
"What do ya got there, money? Looks like you got more than I do!"
I pulled away frantically and let him believe I had a pocket full of paper money. That quashed my plan to ask him for a few bucks, but I'd rather be broke for a week than in prison till my 114th birthday!

I was lucky I guess....my dad dropped out of school with only a grade 7 education had a rough childhood. When he was 11-12 he had to work picking tobacco and would tell me he would cry himself to sleep because his back hurt so bad. Then his pay cheque went straight to his dad.
His dad was abusive to him and his siblings and regularly beat on my Grandmother.
My dad broke that cycle of violence and never even spanked me while growing up. I later learned to be quite proud of him for that.
He was a very liberal thinker in a lot of ways. I sure miss him.

Chong has a funny bit about it not being as fun anymore , not exactly his quote but something like it, he said half the fun was sneaking around ,searching for it and dodging the man ! Lol

In the 70's, the high school officials got tired of cigarettes butts everywhere, so they designated a place where the kids could smoke their cigarettes, the kids called it 'grit alley"

Had no problems buying cigarettes if you looked over 12, if younger looking you had to have a note.

Few years ago, my local area must have had some new rules and regulations about showing I.D.., I was in line at convenient store/ gas station guy in front of me gets carded , guy behind me shouts out

" what a time we live in when you're gray haired and balding and get carded and you can go to the store to buy pot "

Couldn’t agree more.

A while back, I was (legally) getting 240 Percocets a month, year after year after year. Said my name, no ID, no money.

But if I want some decongestant, I've got to show my driver's license. Not just show it, they write down it's #, etc. And if it's expired, no decongestant!

I still have to show ID to buy beer. And I'm closing in on 70. When I was in college, the legal age for alcohol was 18, but nobody checked. And every year at 'Spring In,' the local breweries gave it out for free!

Yes, and so was I. My Dad was kind and loving. I know many that didn't have that, and I am grateful for my luck.

I do have to wonder who posted a laughing emoji on your post...
