Looks like another GS at the track, haven't seen him on T&T nights. He dials in at 6.13 so it should be a good race.

    It's Alive !!

Hit our 1/8 track on Friday T&T and man did it feel weird ? Front end felt loose like a bicycle, I guess riding the B King for the past 2 years spoiled me. First run I took it easy like a 8 second run just to get use to it again. 2nd run I put it on the 2 step and it spun bad like 7 second run...

I blew up the timing advancer over 10 years ago and just bolted a filler gauge to the timing plate to set my timing, also replaced the rotor allowing fixed timing.

Got to Dyess in 92 and retired in 02. Worked in AGE, 196 Trailer maintenance and was a "GOD" as facility manager for the Group Commander. If they wanted money they had to go through me, everybody wanted to be my best friend. I probably past your house at least 10,000 times!

Thanks The only bike I've haven't laid down is the Rat Bike and had her like 25 years now. Took the B King to the 1/8 last week and ran against a big tire Kawasaki and that made me want to get the old gal back out there. https://vimeo.com/214341196

    It's Alive !!

Well it's a new battery in the Rat Bike. Been almost 2 years since it's been started due to me breaking my knee back 2015 and then my wrist in 2016. Getting her ready to go back to the track if I don't break anything else, forgot how good she sounds. Love oil cooled bikes. I think I'll start...

Was first in the staging lanes last night and ran ten 1/8 runs in 45 min's, get you some of that ! Yeah it was a good workout on the B King clutch. Ran a best of 6.53 and a few 6.55 and 6.56 right in the middle of all those runs.
  11. RacingJake

Call me crazy but I'm actually considering this bike.

That sounds like my Sportster ! It's like I'm back in the 70's riding a 2 stroke again. My son had the Honda and pulling the carbs was a PITA and the fuel pump would stop working sometimes but other than that it ran good.

Yeap, before the turbo goes on I'll be removing the in tank fuel pump and going with a bigger inline pump, filter and 1 to 1 regulator. Already got the 3 bar sensor and plug and play wiring and will be tuning it first before the turbo goes on.

Here's my autozone leds in action that I use as shift lights. They're about 4" long, peel and stick and I hooked them up to the pair valve wiring and set the ecu to come on at 10.2K. https://vimeo.com/198616562

I've raised the tubes about an inch in the trees and took out about nine turns of preload in the rear shock to get it lower for the dragstrip. The AH2 header is bigger than oem but so far it hasn't hit anything. Even with the 7" extensions she still blast through the twisties but you have to be...

Nice pic's guys ! Put my 18T back on and a 54 Vortex on the rear. Going to our 1/8 strip in a few weeks and figured why not go ahead and give it some street time. Nothing like getting on the gas in 6th gear until red line. It's a little over kill, OK it's a lot but she moving a lot faster out...

    B King Mods

Slapped on some extensions and think it looks pretty good. So far I'm at 6.74 at 109 mph in the 1/8. I did get 20 runs !!! Takes a little more input in the twisities but it's still fun.

    B King Mods

Picked up a spare B King rim off of Ebay last week and ordered the 190 shinko hookup tire yesterday at noon from Bike Bandit and FedEx drop it off at my house tonight. Talk about fast service from them both. I wanted a second tire for drag racing and the other for street use. Gotta get the MPS...
