A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Drag/Street bike with no Alternator

If the battery is in good shape you shouldn't have any problems. The biggest draw on the battery is when starting it, heck I bet you could go 100 miles.

I hate it when you get a sticky crank

Yeap a 60 hp shot of nitrous and I do have a straight cut crank but I broke that one too along with a wrist pin  I lost the pic of my old angle cut gear that I broke the center out of, it lasted about 2,000 runs.

I hate it when you get a sticky crank

Self taught RC pilot, what goes up hard comes down with a bang. That's my quarter-scale P51 I built 20 years ago when station at Zweibruecken AB Germany. There's only so much german beer a guy can drink when it gets dark at 5 pm, so I needed a hobby. Swings a 2 foot prop on a Super Tiger 30cc...

I hate it when you get a sticky crank

I hurt the crank early this year. I swapped out my 36 NOS jets with some 60's and only ran 5.70 in the 1/8. My MPH was only 122 so something was a miss. Getting around to putting the motor backed together and thought that crank would make a nice pic hanging in the air ?? I'm starting to feel...

Here's some stats on a friends 01 Bandit 1200S with the following mods and it's a no bar bike. They are a great bike, I almost bought one a few years ago and now I wish I did. 1340, R&D tranny, Murray Sidewinder, 41mm Keihin's, Dyna2000, Yosh StgII cams, Trac arm with 63" WB, Penske shock...

How usful is re-gearing for drag applications?

By gearing it higher like droping a tooth on the front sprocket your mph may still be the same but your ET can drop like a rock. Anytime you can get out of the hole faster to the 60' and 330' is a good thing. If you break down your timeslips you'll notice your 330 to 660 & 660 to 1320 time...

    degreeing cams ... why?

Moving the lobe centers toward each other is good for bottom end power and spreading the lobe centers farther apart is good for top end power. Some of us like to go past the 9K redline by a few thousand so guess which way we like to go ?? Advancing the intake closing number will cause an...

    2009 Track Headlines...

First run last night was 6.60 at 107. I just went alittle too wild with my cam timing, the bike was a dog off the line but did come alive down the track. So off came the cam cover and after a little adjusting the next run was a 6.14 at 112. Now that's more like it. Had another 1.99 nos run...

    Replacing Clutch. Concerns.

Just leave that one steel plate alone, it won't hurt anything. Cause if you remove the wire you'll most likey won't be able to re-install it. Just start with a fiber then a steel then a fiber and so on until you end up with a fiber against the pressure plate.
