A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    AMA 2014 Superbike Schedule -SAD!

Yes, Graham was the best natural rider I've ever seen. Despite his personal problems he was always able to adapt to any track or bike setup. I saw him win the Springfield Mile from the last row which is unheard of. His true ability showed through in '93 when he was sober and set a record of 12...

    AMA 2014 Superbike Schedule -SAD!

Today's flat track bikes don't slide as much as in the old days, particularly on tracks like Springfield which are so well groomed that they become more like pavement. These also tend to be one groove tracks in the corners. Looser tracks tend to be mulit-groove tracks. On short tracks and TT's...

    AMA 2014 Superbike Schedule -SAD!

Yes, I agree that Flat Track racing is probably the best spectator motorcycle racing around. The Springfield Mile is fantastic. The Peoria TT is great as well. One rgeat thing about Flat Track racing is that the racers are very fan friendly. everyone is allowed into the pits after the races and...

    AMA 2014 Superbike Schedule -SAD!

As a fan of road racing and old enough to have seen a lot of the great American racers (Cooley, Lawson, Spencer, Rainey, Roberts, Merkel, etc.) in the 70's and 80's it is sad to see the state of AMA road racing today. The 2014 schedule was announced today..............just FIVE events! Pathetic...

    Old Magazine articles

Yes, that is surprisingly fast. The customs guy (gal) must have been a good mood that day. I'm glad you like them. Enjoy!

    Old Magazine articles

Dallas, I'm glad you like them. I think they look pretty nice, suitable for framing even (at least for garage art). I really didn't do much. Greg sent the originals, a nice young lady in my company scanned and did some clean-up, and one of my customers printed them. We're all eager to hear...

    NOS decal application

Yes, they are conventional decals. However, you can use water (with a bit of soap) to ease application. Mix just a drop of liquid soap with water in a spray bottle. Spray the area where the decal will be applied and then apply the decal. The water/soap mixture will make it much easier to squeeze...

    Old Magazine articles

Greg, Blowing the images up isn't a big deal. Yes, the resolution will suffer a bit but they aren't high resolution anyway. The harder part is finding a printer to print bigger sizes. Most of the printers I have access to max out at 11x17 or 12x18 paper sizes. There are wide format printers...

    Old Magazine articles

Greg (gmansyz) sent me some hard copy pics quite a while back. It has taken some time but I have finally completed the intended project of having them scanned and cleaned up then printed. When this project started I had access to a printer in our company demo center but lost that access so it...

Dan, Yes, she liked the additional luggage space as it allowed for shopping along the way. She slept more than usual so the passenger accommodations must be suitable.... Joe

Sorry, I didn't read completely. I didn't see the word 'Explorer' in your earlier post. I thought you were referring to the 800cc Tiger, not the 1200cc version. Coincidentally, Dan at GSM Motorent now has an Explorer tricked out by Twisted Throttle......... Thanks, Joe

It followed US home dear......after a great trip!

The Tiger would be an excellent choice, especially if most of your riding is one-up. It would probably be fine for two-up as well but I wanted more power and room since a lot of my riding is two-up. The ST doesn't have nearly as much horsepower as the FJR but equal torque so it does fine two-up...
