    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

New project already not going well.

Like I said, "Most people learn this at an early age, pay their fees on time or file a non-opp." Oh yes, in North Carolina when I was a kid, if you let your insurance expire the County Sheriff would come and collect your plates. So much for Liberal Goverments.....

    Washington state to South Carolina

Having ridden 10's of thousands of miles on 650's and below I have decided when I am touring, I need a liter bike or bigger. On my trip in 2016 while riding my 1100g through eastern Montana and getting blown around by cross-winds I considered the advantages of a heavy motorcycle. The greater the...

New project already not going well.

Non-operational: Annual fees are due to keep a vehicle registered to drive on the road. I would think Alberta would have that as well. It used to be that if your car/mc was broken down and the registration expired and you didn't pay the registeration it wa no big deal. You just go down to DMV...

New project already not going well.

It's been quite a few years ago when someone here posted the same problem of buying a bike in our fair state and didn't know it had back fees. He put some effort in researching the law and found that the state can't hold you liable for back fees you knew nothing of and were told there was a...

    Howdy y'all

I don't know if you are aware that there is an GS owners group in the UK on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/uksuzukigsowners/ They may be able to help with parts for your bike.

    Bike stands.

This stand will raise the front wheel off the ground and hold the bike securly while the bike is on the center stand of the motorcycle. If the rear wheel is off, you can raise the front of the bike higher because the wheel is not there to hit the ground. Conversly if the front wheel is off you...

[url=https://flic.kr/p/RJQZQs] [url=https://flic.kr/p/RJR2X3] I use the same Venom stand on my 06 Sprint 1050 with the adapter I made from 15/16" x 1-1/2" high brass rod fitted on the supplied 13mm pin. I had done a quick measurement of the inside of the headstock on my 83GS(X)750e and the...
