A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Just got myself this GS1000N 1979 for rebuild. It should keep me occupied over the winter months. O ring kit ordered from Robert Barr/cycleorings.com, also going to give inlet rubbers from cruzinimage a go. On first inspection all rubber components will need replacing, brakes tyres etc. The...

    Registering Replacement Frame in UK

Have you a V5c for replacement frame ?, just use that. Otherwise I think your in bother, can you prove with paperwork that it's not stolen or registered as a Wright off. If your lucky and get it registered it could end up being on a Q plate, a vehicle built from multiple vehicle parts.

Change Chain and Sprockets on Gs1000s

I think off hand I use an 18 47 combo with my 530 chain, cant remember chain link count. From what I can remember I got a 120 link length of regina x ring and rivet link and cut it to size. That sprocket combo is a little taller ratio than standard but drops the revs on the motorway.
