A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I gotta agree with Glen. I have had them on my GS since the '90s and they are pretty nice & well built. RAASK for the win!

    GSX750ES adjustable levers?

I recently put some on my Wife's 1100. Let me look around & see what I find... I think it was from a SV on the clutch side and the brake side was a part of the MC upgrade ETA: Like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/324755623034?fits=Make%3ASuzuki&hash=item4b9cf18c7a:g:uzgAAOSw3wxhGtkJ

    GS1100E restomod project

There have been many members do this swap on this site & others. I believe the concept is to push out the stems & swap them around when doing a Bandit swap. I used GSXR (RWU) forks & triples & it was a bolt in affair with regard to the triple trees. Good luck with your project.

Help me choose 1100e fork swap!

I went with the 89/90 GSXr1100 forks & triples on my 83. Stem is exactly the same, but I had new clamps & steering stops welded on. My bike sits just slightly lower in the front than before the swap. It's a small, but noticeable difference

    Tips on installing Pingel please!

I bought the dual outlet for mine, but the setup is the same otherwise. I wasn't happy with the centered adaptor & bought the offset adaptor to suit my application. I also had to file the tank opening to fit the screen inside the tank opening. I thought about rinsing the tank also, but my...

Source for rearsets for GS1100? Anyone make a reasonable bolt-on set?

I put Raask rearsets on my GS11es years ago and have found them to be very durable and suitable for me. I've never tried the Tarozzi brand

    Airplane fuel

The often unmentioned advantage to real race gas, is it's ability to store well over time. Normal "gas" rots in a short time. Real race gas remains stable and usable for long periods of time without the need for fuel treatments of any kind.

    GS(X)1100ESD Long term project.....

According to my fuzzy wiring diagram the white wire is the brake light, the brown is the tail light & the black & white is the ground/return or "earth" for both. with a volt meter on the plug between the brown and black & white you should see a nominal 12 volts. If you only get 6, no light...

    78 GS1000 suspension upgrades

Thanks Gary. Suzuki made a 1 year model, the 1983 GS1100es in this country. The wheels are Astralites, and both front & rear are indeed 18" hoops. I bought them so long ago, I couldn't tell you how wide they are. I did recently buy tires, though... 110/80-18 on the front & 160/60-18 on the rear...

    First time on the dragstrip!

patrino, what is the db limit where you race? I have done some vintage bike racing & was allowed (aloud!) 100 db due to class rules while "modern" bikes were limited to 93 or some such thing. Keep it up & good luck!
