A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The connectors are fine as long as the crimp is tight - Exposed -- not so much -- they will need shrink wrap at the very least to insulate them - I can understand leaving them 'open' for now may ease the process of trouble shooting - but if they short out on the frame = no bueno :(

Are those readings Volts ? (VDC) I believe the bike needs to see at least 10 V while cranking to have a chance to start - Take your battery in to be tested at a Batteries Plus, or some other auto outlet (I can't read the setting on the VM - Old eyes ;) )

Suggestions for throttle stop (cruise control) that clamp onto the grip.

Looking closely at Steves pictures and mine I have noticed what I think are differences in installation I think this is due to the use of mine over the stock grips AND the grip puppies - I installed my 'ring' that grips the throttle tube and grips backwards from how Steve's is done I think ? My...

    '87 Honda Magna 700 Carbs - thoughts?

My son and I did a set for one of his friends -- Removal is difficult - but much easier than getting them back on ! Using a ratchet strap actually helped create enough leverage to get them to seat in the boots. (NOT-pro tip?) {worked for me?} The actual carb internals are typical and usual...

    Kuryakyn L.E.D. Battery Gauge

Respectfully disagree -- I have a NEW stator - New SSH775 R & R - New coils - New wires - and a 2 year old battery - My Voltmeter was showing a slight reduction in typical and usual output while I was out on a 450 mile ride (which was supposed to be more but I aborted) The resultant gremlin...

I will get a picture tonight when I get home and post it tomorrow The three screws tighten onto the collar and grab the grip (even the foam) and then it can 'lock' into place. A picture is worth 1000 words -- ;) Even then I did not 'get it' until I had it in my hands and was ready to assemble...

I have the Vista cruise on my 850 - I also have the foam grip puppies over the typical grips The Vista works OVER the FOAM grips quite well - it has many adjustments - I have tied a lot of different ones - Right now I have a wide throttle rocker and the Vista lock The rocker I only use on the...

    Very Strange Carb Sync Problems
