A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Identify this master cylinder

It may be off a 1972-77 Suzuki GT750. The extension on it to cushion mirror vibration leads me to that best guess.

Brake Fluid Leak at Bleeder Screw Seats after Rebuild - Now What?

That is very odd as I’ve rebuilt and sold over 50-75 calipers over the last 8 years and never had that happen. You could look up the bleeder part # used for that model/ year bike and buy a new set. The other suggestion would be to wrap the bleeder threads with Teflon tape screw/ seat it and see...

Looking for fork cap preload adjusters for GS650G

I completed a front fork swap/ modification on my 1976 GT750 Water Buffalo to a set of GS650G forks. This allowed me to do the front twin pot double front brake conversion using Valkyrie front rotors, a chrome GS850 front fender, and using a V Strom 650 5/8” master cylinder. I used Progressive...

I rebuilt and refurbish the Kawasaki EX/Ninja Dual Pot front brake calipers used with Salty Monk?s adapter/ conversion kit. I have plenty of stock ready to go on both single left or right or if preferred a set of 2. See my thread in parts for sale for my detailed process and pricing. They also...

Float height with tubing: individual or together?

Do on the bike with all carbs installed as carbs will be in the position they function at. You can check carb fuel level height one carb at a time. Won?t be any domino effect. With carbs installed, do you have enough room between carb/ space between bowl bottom and engine case to get to the...

GS front fender interchangeability for 1981 GS650E forks?

Have not done the conversion yet but will replace just the tubes as the GS650 and GT750 fork size is the same. Plan to use the stock original GT750 triple trees. I do have a concern with the GS850G front fender fitment and might have to use some spacers possibly. The GS850 forks are larger by...
