A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Bit the bullet and got a Delkovic

I have a Delkovic on my 81 750E. Ive had it about 2 years now and it's pretty decent. The fitment for the muffler took a little tweaking and piping seems a little thin compared to V&H pipes. But it's a hell of alot lighter than the stock exhaust and overall I'm happy with it. Turns a goldish...

    Carb decisions...BS36, BST34SS

So here's what I got. I recently picked up another 1100 (doesn't run, needs a case split) and noticed the carbs looked bigger than usual. After doing some research I found they are most likely from an 1150. Mikuni, 36mm, plastic round slides, 00A00 stamping on the side of the carbs. Haven't...

    Oil Pump Question

Well I was considering taking a Dremel and small sanding disc to it but I think it could get messy. From everything being taking apart I didn't see any signs of oil pressure loss(not that I think it really would lose any from such minimal damage). I have access to a cnc lathe but I wouldn't...

    Oil Pump Question

Hey everyone, been a long while since I posted. I been working on my 1100 project/rebuild and when inspecting the oil pump i noticed some grooving in the housing. It's enough in some spots I can catch my nail on it, but no damage to the inside of the rotors. Just curious if anyone has an...

I'm a little more northern IL, near Rockford area. But I own an 83 GS1100E an 82 I'm turning into a drag/street bike (slowly) and 2 750s. I love these old Suzuki's and like seeing em on the road. Unfortunately getting ready to store mine but if ya got any questions or need to know how...

    My 81 GS750E

Haven't been on in awhile cause I been busy with a new job. I ended up drilling out the frame to fit the swingarm. Kinda thinking of going back to the square light just to be different and I might need the big 1100 light for another project. Always messing around and modifying something lol

    My 81 GS750E

Hi everyone. Haven't posted in a long time. I had thought of doing a build up type thread a couple times but don't have the patience. I'm an avid old school Suzuki owner and have a couple different bikes I been riding and working on. This one here is my baby cause I started from the frame up...

    Damaged Forks/Triples 80 GS750E

Thanks for the response. Since everything seems to be at least slightly bent I would think it would best just to get a whole set, forks, triples, and maybe axle too (was in spec but just barely). I'm just not sure what effect putting different style clamps/forks would have and if they will...

    Damaged Forks/Triples 80 GS750E

So I'm helping my friend fix up an 80 GS750E we found on craigslist. Its pretty immaculate mechanically, the guy was selling it cause he couldnt get it to run right with the pod filters he put on it (he gave me a blank look when I asked him if he rejet the carbs). I rode it when I got back and...

    Josh's 1982 GS1100EZ

I have pics of my T in that thread lol. I might make a thread dedicated to what I did with it over this last winter. I just didn't join until after I was done with it. EDIT: If ya don't wanna go digging for it, here a pic of my T with my messy back room where I did all the work lol.

    Josh's 1982 GS1100EZ

Pics of the tear down. Got a ton of pics so I will know how everything goes back together, so here are the ones I got that aren't boring pics of wire and cable routing. My friend has the other parts not posted. The heat shields are rusted the worst and there's a few dings and dents on...

    Josh's 1982 GS1100EZ

Figured I might catalog my progress on this 1100 I found on craigslist. I'm always looking for motorcycles/parts and stuff for my friends and I in the area and happened upon this 1982 Suzuki GS1100 ad. Parts bike, no title $650, 47k miles, and runs. The bike looked just about 100% complete minus...

Ive heard of the Vermont loophole, has anyone here actually tried it? It seems a lil sketchy to me but I'm willing to try it if it'll work.

Sorry didn't back right away Michael, I've been preoccupied and haven't check in here for quite awhile. I was actually born in Kenosha and have quite a bit of family up there. I live in Loves Park (basically Rockford) so it's about an hour and a half from you. I'd defiantly be up for some...

My friend also reassured me saying that he got pulled over and they never checked the vin. Idk I suppose I might be over reacting, but I've put alot of work into this bike and to think my ownership isn't "legit" kinda bothers me. I've had vehicle registration issues with the law before and...

Ok, so here it goes. I bought my very much loved 82 GS750T around this time last year from a good friend of mine. I bought it the moment I saw it, registered it, insured it, rode it, tore it apart this winter, cleaned things up and been riding it on and off lately as the weather has been...

    T-Nation Thread (My 2nd Thread) 3rd Overall (I think)

Mine was pretty nasty too lol. I've ordered a couple things from Z1 and was pretty happy with them. I'm doing little things first with it being my first bike so a rejet and exhaust will probably be next winters project. I'm gonna ride and have fun til I get an a itch to make it a little...
