DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

1150 EF updating project

Are you going to try and use the MS like Busa suggests to control an ignition?

I was thumbing through the links and am amazed at how much they are doing with this project.

Busa, are you just having someone you know build it, or are buying it assembled and tested? Are you planning to just use it for injection, or are you going to try and do some sort of ignition control as well? I would like to hear about what you guys do with this.

I am buying it from someone I met on the suzukihayabusa.org board-
Assembled,Tested, and a pre-installed base map, 3bar sensor, with logging, wideband o2, a cable for downloading, etc etc etc/

Yes, I will be using it to control my injection & ignition.

I can justify 450 for one ready to go, just not 1500 to 5k  for what others use~

I am budget minded to say the least/

I use a PC2 for my 2000 it controls the fuel and ignition, it just cannot run 4 more injectors as is.

I do know one of the member says he modifies them so you can run 2 in series and control 750cc injectors silk smooth/ (no need for secondaries)

If the megasquirt is as promoted from others, then I will more then likely use it on the 82 GS1100EZ I bought a month or so ago, it is waiting for me in Florida.

Going to make my own injection setup for the 82 GS, but that is some time off from now 8-[

Blower: Where would I get some of those exhaust flanges? I could have some cut out but if someone already makes them it might be cheaper.

Not ready yet but fairly near .
Allso finished swing arm extensions and hammered those in to swing arm .
Next week I?m going to weld extensions .

Sorry about that but that EFE is?t only project bike I?ve been working with .
Only thing I have done to efe is battery box/holder . I can put some pics later .

Pic of my home made E-wheel

E-wheel.jpg

First off, ALL of it is cool as he11!! I am SOOOO impressed with your work!!!

Second, that (above) is no English wheel ... it's home-made, so that makes it a "Finnish Wheel" !!!

Like many others, I look forward to seeing the project continue to completion!

Best Regards,

This is a seriously great looking streetfighter. Excellent job, will love to see it when it's all done.

Thank you all of your comment?s !
Next thing Im going to make is exhaust muffler . Im going to make it from stainless steel sheet ( 0.75 mm ) and TIG welded .
I have to also make many small things before it?s ready to painter .

You are one talented dude!! I like the matte finish of the muffler ... I think it matches the aluminum work better than a polished finish would.

My .02

I don?t know if it?s matches better the aluminium work in matte finish .
I?m going to polish all aluminium parts ( not the battery box and the engine) .

Well, if you polish the aluminum to a high shine the "polished" stainless steel might work better...

Either way it's looking awesome!

Regards,

last week?s progress : installed "new" head light , made palce for the Mini Mega controller box , progressive throttle and a lot of small things .

Do you plan to take the whole thing back apart once you have finished mounting everything, to do the paint and motor work?

Is the motor in any condition to be run with the Mega thing, just to see if things work before the rebuild?
