Got a few runs at 6.91 and 1.68 60 footers without bars. Bike was running good until my shift light starting acting up, like not coming on when it's time to shift. Maybe due to that little rain shower we had on Friday. The only real problem I had was my Butt. Our track finally fix the bump at the end of the track so I figure I'd remove my foam cushion from my little sissy bar. It work great until after a few wheelie's off the line and my butt came crashing dowm on that bar and it hurt like hell. It got to the point I was'nt looking forward to that 1-2 shift when that bar is trying to push you down the lane. Well that pads back on now.
Next week the wheelie bars are going back on and no more 7K dump the clutch. This time I'll be slipping the clutch alittle.
We did have one guy show up with a old factory turbo Kaw 750. He was lauching in second gear and spinning the tire off the line (looks like a 120 street tire). He run around 7.50 to 7.80 but his mph was 110. It was a fast bike, just needs a bigger tire and bars.
