I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Returning Visitors
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The rest of my engine parts came in today. The cylinder studs, gaskets, etc...
I am told the engine will be together and need a bike to be put into by Tuesday or Wednesday next week! 8O

This is our 4th house. I am always amazed of the things I see and the inspectors fail to catch (last time I was luckey as the bank did not require me to pay one of them). I'm thinking to write a book. There are all the home repair books out there, but no books that tell a home owner what not to do. Actually, most of these are things that females do, so it may be a book for things that males should not allow females to talk them into.
Don't wallpaper. That glue is a pain to remove and get the walls back to a paint ready surface. (See that new sand paper looking paint they have now, wow!!)
Don't plant trees directly under the power lines. They do get tall you know.
Don't paint bricks. Both inside or outside. They need to breeth and the paint only locks in the mositure. Then the water expands and blows small pocks in the brick.
Don't put bright yellow siding on your house.
Don't use standard light fixture to hold a 50 pound ceiling fan.
Don't paint the woodwork.
If you live in a area with a lot of clay and below freezing temperatures, don't put large shrubs around the house. Don't put trees next to the house. They can cause water not to drain and can blow out a wall.
When you install vents in the roof, make sure that they are not placed under the low layer of shingles. Water tends to flow down on the roof. If you give it a path under the shingles, it's going to take it.
Don't make your roof bright blue, red, green etc.
If you have an older home with the cloth insulated wiring and it is breaking down, just replace the stuff. It's not getting better by you leaving it.

I have used one can of Kilts on this house. Good stuff. I mentioned this to a friend as they are doing the same thing with their home. There is one room that is wall paper over paint over wall paper. And I thought I had it bad.

couldn't find the sprockets I wanted for my 530 conversion so I am going
to stick with stock 630 and just get new sprockets and chain.
I have been working franticly on my bike the past several nights. My
procrastinating is paying off big time. I am down to cutting corners. AT
this point, it's just getting most of the last bolt on stuff put back on. I will
work on all the cosmetic stuff another time. It's time to get an engine in
this thing and bring it back to life.
I will try to get in touch with Joe tomorrow and get an engine update.
Now, question just to show how tired I am at this hour.
I am trying to mount my gauges, do the tabs of the mounting brackets
go on top of the mount holes on the triple top clamp or on the bottom?

Hey Mark. If you need to know where stuff goes such as wiring, cabling and what not, just PM me with your email address and what photos you need. I'll have the tank off in the next couple of days to sync the carbs and the fairing is still off. Just let me know. Good to see it coming together. It's probably best to save the paint and detailing until you know you're done anyway. It's a little extra work to take it all apart again but you won't chewing up perfectly good paint while you're sorting things out.

The studs came in with two wrong studs in the set from APE. Too short.
So they are going to over night us a pair as soon as they find some. That puts my target up to next Tuesday now :|
But all is well. I procrastinated so badly on my end of this project that I need the extra week. It is going to work out good.
Good points to post about:
The chain, sprockets and coils are ordered and should be here as early as tomorrow or as late as Friday. Either way, when they come in I will install all of them as well.
Joe is almost finished rebuilding the smoothies and the head is completely done.
I am not getting my hopes up but if it works out maybe I can give this thing a quick paint job myself to hold me over. We?ll see.

I am guessing that it was the longest stud in the lower case and the one that mounts near the output drive. I may still have the longer ones if you would like me to look.
