A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

hello,

Well I just broke all the fuel screw tips off inside the carb throats. They I managed to push two back in and get them out. Not so lucky on the
other two. Any tips on getting them out. I can't seem to find anything
small enough to use. Also if/when I get them out anybody know a good
place to get them online. I also have a stripped air screw on one carb
and would like to replace that too. Also does anyone know what the stock
setting is for the fuel screws They were set at five turns and that seems
to be very rich to me.

Thanks for your help Jon

FIND another set of carbs on ebay The screws are unobtainable and you have damaged the carbs GS750/850/1000 you may have to use some of your original jets

Thats what I figured. Are the carbs the same for the 750/850/1000?
do you happed to know the size?

Thanks for the reply
Jon

750/850/1000 all used the same basic carb, just different jetting for different applications 26mm slide type and some odd 28mm from overseas
