A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Sounds like a fair call to me Daniel :)

The mirrors from many different bikes should work as long as they're the same thread.

Pretty sure all the Zuk's of the same era used that thread, but can't remember if it's 10mm or 12mm now...

Be careful of Yamaha ones though as they have a left hand thread on the right hand mirror.

last night with the help of some starting fluid..it actually started and ran for about a minute....i dont think there is any gas in it.....but at least now i know it runs....

Tonight got a few more mins with it .....its starts and idles now .....took the front wheel off...planning on taking it to work and replacing the tire tomorrow....

Does anyone know if these wheels will work tubeless or do they need to have a tube in them...a regular valve stem won't work in them.....the hole is to skinny.....and if they can be done tubeless where do I find the valve stems.

I won't swear to it but I'm pretty sure they're all tube type wheels...

ok...thats not what i wanted to hear....but thanxs for the info.....i was sorta thinking that myself after i saw the valve hole..but wanted confirmation.....

Got the new front tire on....took the exhaust off on the left side so I could take it to get to get a crossover pipe made....installed a new speedometer cable....figured out why the brake light off the front lever didn't work...and ordered a new switch.....all in all a productive night...

Mate progress like that is always good, always feels good to get some success no matter how small a win it is :)

who would have guessed 1 1/4 inch exhaust pipe is so hard to find....

the local custom exhaust shop cant even do it...smallest they do is 1 1/2 in......i work at a auto garage.....one of my coworkers are gonna try to weld something together....

yea i think we can make something that will work...i cant even find regular exhaust pipe in that size.....i had to get metal pipe from the hardware store...and it isnt even quite right....so we have to weld something together using the ends of my old pipe and the middle section of new pipe....

So we took these two pipes.....cut the old looking one in half.....and stuck the halves in either end of the new pipe.....and welded it tight.....works pretty good...
