hi all,
six months ago, i had the fuel tank repaired and i replaced the sensor at the same time..
i made sure the new sensor worked and closed shop....
the other day the fuel gauge which was working, stopped working...
i took of the tank and noted two wires to the sensor, a black and a yellow wire.
assuming the yellow wire is supposed to be live i put a tester on it and found no light coming on
the tester pen, whilst also earthing...
question: is this yellow wire supposed to come alive at the turn of the ignition key...?
